PSI CONTRIBUTION
Contingency, or margin for error, can be thought of as the gap between your fallback position and your actual goal. Here the maximum PSI contribution is 10. You get a score out of 5 points on Step 5 if you've built some contingency into your plan. The more the contingency the higher the score out of 5. You get the other 5 points if you can show that the expectation you've created lies somewhere between the fallback position and the goal. The closer the expectation lies to your fallback position, the higher your score out of 5. If your project has no margin for error, then you lose 15 off your cumulative score here.
