Despite all the above, there are many examples of very
effective practices in companies we have assessed. Some are included in this
book. Analysis of CMAT scores shows that the characteristics, activities and
foci shown in Table 2.2 are most
closely associated with high (top quartile) scores, and hence overall business
performance.
